This is my personal website.  It is primarily a couple of CVs - one of my medical career, the other a list of exhibitions and galleries related to my art career.

There is some early stuff from my schooldays at Sheffield City Grammar School that can be found on www.omnesamici.com

After Medical School in Sheffield and early training in Sheffield and Leicester I came to Liverpool as Senior Lecturer, then Reader in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 1974.  I left the University to work at Arrowe Park Hospital in 1987 (all of this can be seen on my medical CV). In 1995, I decided to retire from the NHS, partly to do more urogynaecology in the private sector and partly to give me more time to paint. As it happened, I was invited back to the Liverpool Women's Hospital (where I had started a urodynamic clinic in the 1970s).  This was a part-time, two sessions/week job and was supposed to last about 6 months.  It lasted 11 years and so I did not give up clinical medicine completely until last year

But I still had a lot more time to paint and since the mid-1990s I have exhibited a lot.  Most of my time is now spent painting. Past events in this arena can be seen on my art CV and forthcoming exhibitions on my newsletter viewed from www.bathstreetstudios.com
